We’re Back!
A day of travel brought our return to Buenos Aires. Having visited this European influenced city in 2020, we were happy to explore this familiar area. We started our morning with Mass at the Basilica de Nuestra Senora Pilar, which was consecrated in 1732.
The reliquary has relics from newly canonized Carlos Acutis whose remains we prayed at in Assisi, last year.
We took time to remember our previous visit with a stop at the Avenida 9 de Julio which features 19 lanes of traffic!
And the Obelisk of Buenos Aires in its Center.
A stop at Recoleta Cemetery with its rows of mausoleums brought us to the decorated site of Eva Perón.
And took in the sunset sky over the Puente de La Mujer.
A great start for our new adventure.
